ZODCORE Skate news

The MIA program: A 10 year look at Miami from on the board and through the eyes of local skateboarder/photographer Ian O’ Connor. The Program is a limited edition 1oo page printed publication produced solely by skater owned and operated MIA skate shop. It highlights a selection of the most pinnacle photos of Ian’s career along with new and never before seen shots from deep in the archive. The program does not only focus on the act of skating, but also takes a look into what we encounter out in the streets of the magic city. From the gutter of Liberty City, to hanging out of a helicopter above Biscayne Bay, The Program takes you on a visual trip of one of the most colorful and fascinating cities in the world via Skateboarding. Skate-Zine.

Local Pama and Gravette on the intimidating skull tombstone.

Over our week in the Cayman Islands, it wasn’t all cut-throat competition at the Black Pearl (it actually never was), there was also relaxing in the pool, afternoon snorkeling, trying our luck on the wave pool, and even a scuba diving expedition one day. The bartenders were friendly, the Red Stripes were plentiful, and the seafood was delicious. We’ll be back there this summer for more skate camps and we recommend you do the same. Here’s a bunch of photos that Chris Ray and Blair Alley shot of what went down during the heated sessions and relaxing down time that island life provides.
