Game Info you wanna know.

White Knight Chronicles funny: The danger of photography

I played and somewhat enjoyed White Knight Chronicles (review coming tomorrow) on the PS3. One of my favorite little features of the game was the Crystal Camera, a snapshot tool that I used like a phone cam in-game. I probably spent a bit too much time with that, as you'll see soon.
I really like this White Knight Chronicles commercial that highlights both online play and the dangers of obsessing over the perfect shot with the camera. You'll see. It's quite funny. This is actually one of the better Sony ad videos I've seen as it manages to show the game and its features while being entertaining.
In my experience with online no one really talks. Minimal conversation at most. It usually goes like this: Log on, get quest, everyone run to the end of the stage, fight, get winnings, leave.
After the jump you'll find a second funny video, found on VGCharts, that also highlights online play. Man, where are these guys online?

A free trip to space courtesy of Shattered Horizon

Want a free trip to outer space? Of course you do. All that's required is a handful of that Astronaut Food stuff. Thing is, the shuttle you'll be taking runs Windows Vista/Windows 7 and needs a DirectX 10 video card for some reason. Why? Because science, that's why!
The dehydrated paste isn't for eating; we've got plenty of tasty food up here. We just wanted to make you spend money on that crap. Anyway, Shattered Horizon will be free to play this weekend on Steam. Also happening during the Thursday night through Sunday block is a sale.
During that time, the multiplayer shooter will be marked down to half price. Suhweet.

New PS3 IP coming from Sony Cambridge?

Sony's Cambridge studio has done a lot, but not in the way of developing their own game. That will change according to a job listing for the studio:
We are looking for an experienced lead programmer to head the engineering team for our next PS3 game title as it enters the production phase. The position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the shaping and delivery of an exciting new IP for the studio, and would suit a senior engineer wishing to pursue a managerial track to their career path.
A new PS3 IP, huh? The group previously worked on PlayTV and EyeToy properties (as well as some PSP games), if that tells you anything. Maybe motion control? Maybe something to do with the Sony Arc?

Munch on God Eater in Q3 2010, North America

God Eater. I like it. It's Namco Bandai's Monster Hunter concept-- a PSP-based hunty action RPG -- but with a way better name and a bit more style. It hits Japanese PSPs on February 4, and the good news is that a North American version isn't going to be much longer.
D3 Publisher has set a Q3 2010 release date for our version of the game, which shows me that they know this could be a big title. Judge for yourself and nab the robust Japanese demo. I liked it. It's got a similar concept to MH, but the feel is totally different. Better? Maybe.
I'm really looking forward to this game. What about you?
